Having high standards and living my dreams was always the expectation in my family even as a young girl. I stood by these values and took all the necessary steps toward reaching the necessary achievements. Upon entrance to high school, I had the unique opportunity to be a part of the MECA (Modified Early College Academy) program through San Jacinto College. Which lead to me graduate in December of 2022 before graduating with my high school diploma in May of 2023. Although this was a great opportunity for me, it wasn’t without its challenges. I took several college level courses while juggling my regular high school classes as well as competing in various high school sports track, swimming, volleyball, and powerlifting. This presented me with unanticipated difficulties as a student athlete working to maintain excellent grades, participate in clubs and organizations on my campus, and excel as an athlete. Throughout the years, I have worked through the hardships of school, work, and sports to create a roadmap for my future self. I have reflected on my accomplishments and what more I have to complete. My experiences throughout school and church have shaped me into the person I am today and made me a much stronger individual. I cannot say that it was all easy but it was definitely worth the late nights and sacrifices to put me in the position I am in today. My dedication and drive will jumpstart my career in creating my own sport agency. I know there will be more obstacles in this next chapter of my life, but I am up for the challenge because obstacles present opportunities to grow. I have reflected on my accomplishments and what more I have to complete.
