I want to run in college because running has been a major influence in my life. My lifestyle has been drastically determined by my training and my goals. running in college is one of those goals that drives me to train my hardest. I would not be the same person without running, and I have always wanted to do it in college. I personally wouldn't be me without cross country and track.
I think I would be a valuable addition to the team, because of my hard work and persistence. I build my schedule around my training and academics, and maintain a strong athletic schedule. I strive to keep up a positive attitude, and value mental toughness. I believe all things are done with teamwork and perseverance.
The college I go to would have a positive and strong sense of community. I would want my college to be success oriented, and have the necessary resources for me to pursue my studies, as well as teachers that take an active role in my education. community service is important to me, so I would want to have opportunities for me to serve. I look forward to being a part of a college that pushes me to be a better student.
