Gabrielle Miller '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabrielle Miller. My family and I have been blessed athletically across many sports. My mother and father excelled in multiple sports. My brother's football skills, gifts, and talents earned him a D1 full scholarship along with 3 Big 12 Bowl rings. He now has been drafted to play in the NFL. My sister's basketball skills, gifts, and talents earned her an NAIA D1 full scholarship along with 4 conference championship rings.

The experience and demonstration of my parents and sibling's great work ethics, discipline, vision, and goal setting gave me the drive to focus academically. While I have faced certain obstacles in my Track & Field journey, such as the passing of my father, I have gained the mental and physical toughness needed to establish my vision and goals to compete at the collegiate level. Throughout the rest of the time I have left in high school, I only plan to excel and beat my PR's each meet and each year and keep that mindset throughout college. I am a very coachable and understanding athlete who understands the sacrifices that must be made to become a better athlete and person overall. I believe what separates me from the rest is a commitment to bring a spirit of excellence and produce results in everything I do. I also believe that I can add value to the team and school I represent at the collegiate level, but also be a bright light of motivation and a leader for my teammates.
