HI
My name is Hayden Gold and I run for Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas. I started running competitively in 8th grade and aspire to run at the collegiate level after graduating high school. I run both cross country (5k) and track (1500, 1600, 3000, 3200,5K, 2000 meter steeplechase, and javelin) but my favorite event is the 2000 meter steeplechase. I have competed at the national level and hope to continue to do so.
Outside of running I work hard to maintain my GPA and am currently taking four AP classes. Looking towards the future, I am searching for a school that can provide me with a high level of competition to improve my running as well as a place where i can excel in my preferred choice of major, engineering.
I love to volunteering at animal shelters as well as food banks because I feel that it is important to give back to your community!
