Klayre Cook '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Klayre Cook, and I am a junior in highschool. I have been running cross country and track since my 7th grade year, and have had the privilege of running alongside some very talented athletes. My freshman year, I helped my team reach a 3rd place finish in the State 3A Cross Country Championships. I also was a member of our 4x400M Relay team, contributing to our school record breaking time and wildcard finish to qualify for the 3A Track State Championships. My sophomore year, I was the second scoring runner on our cross country team, and helped achieve yet another 3A state medal, finishing 3rd for the second time. I hope to continue my streak of appearing at the State level and continue to push our program to be the best it can be. I believe competing at a high level is helping to prepare me for what challenges lie ahead in the future, whether it be athletics or in life.
