I am a Junior at Permian High School. I am enrolled in a specialized education program known as New Tech High School. I am ranked one in my graduating class and holding a 4.31 GPA. I have gown up in Odessa, Texas; home of the movie Friday Night Lights. The majority of my career has been spent as an "underdog" and always taking big steps. Transitioning to high school I left the charter school I was at for the past eight years. I stepped out and made varsity as a freshman and quickly saw what my potential was. In total in the past three years I have taken over three minutes off my PR and qualified for Region 1-6A regionals individually. This year I earned the title of Captain and have gotten to grow as a leader, mentor, and friend to my teammates. I will be graduating with my associates degree and hope to go and attain my bachelors in aerospace or aeronautical engineering. I feel called to this field to help create and design aircrafts and devices to help the US military in defending our country. Lastly, I am a firm believer that Christ has given me a talent and it is my responsibility to bestow it in a way that honors him and my teammates.
