Having my heart set on becoming a collegiate track athlete, I have worked for years in and out of school to become the athlete I am today. All three years of my high school career I have made it to UIL Regionals while working my way up in ranking. This year I made it to the finals in the 200 at Regionals for the first time and although I did not advance to State, it was definitely an exceptional end to my season.
As I approach my senior year I am continually working on my GPA and speed so that not only my academics improve but my times as well, allowing me to be a strong student-athlete.
I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between the classroom and track while being part of a family away from home. I would like to pursue my academic and athletic career at an institution with an outstanding medical field.
