Brooklyn Marcee '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Brooklyn Marcee and I am a female pole vaulter graduating with the class of 2022. I started pole vaulting in the 7th  grade and shortly after, I found a love for the sport. The feeling of time pausing as you are clearing a new height is like no other.

I competed competitively in gymnastics for 12 years. I truly believe that gymnastics molded me to be the person and athlete I am today. Gymnastics taught me determination, sacrifice, consistency, and dedication. I carry these life skills into my everyday life and all of my other sports. I think one of the reasons I love pole vaulting so much is because the skills required are so similar to gymnastics. 

My goal this upcoming season is to clear 12'6. I know with the hard work, determination, and support from the people around me that I will accomplish this goal. I think that I am a good candidate for your team because I have that competitive drive where I am constantly aiming for a higher goal, and I will put in the work that it takes for the team and myself.
