Cross country is one of my biggest passions. As I have grown in the sport, I have learned Cross Country offers a multitude of physical, mental, and social advantages that contribute to personal growth and overall well-being. Each time I run, I get to zone in and push myself physically and mentally. This ability to maintain self-discipline has helped me in other sports as well. It has allowed me the opportunity to be the co-Captain of our Varsity Basketball team my freshman year, as well as, advance to Pitcher of our girls Varsity Softball team. I am competitive in everything I do, and running has definitely been a way for me to show that. I am coachable, self-disciplined, academically focused, and overall willing to put in hard work in anything I do.
