Madison Avery '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a 12th grader at Sinton High School in Sinton, Texas.  Since elementary school, I have participated in track and field, and since making the varsity track team, I am excited to say that my love for the sport is like no other! I see track and field as a favorable possibility at the collegiate level. I hope to find a college or university that will help me continue my love for track and a learning environment that will push me academically.  I plan on pursuing a degree in Business/Marketing with an emphasis in Graphic Design. 

I have always been a hard worker on and off the field.  My teachers and coaches have always appreciated my positive attitude and attentiveness. Unfortunately, COVID 19 did not allow me to run track my freshman year. However, my sophomore year has helped me grow in my favorite race, the 400m, which enabled me to establish my PR.  I have also had a great season with my 4x400m relay team, in which we won 1st place in the  2022 district.  I am so excited about what the future holds for me, both on track and educationally!
