What makes me better then other recruits is that I want to improve but also help other people improve.
I love racing, I love the sport of running and get excited about it. I am the first one once I finish, to turn around and congratualate others on finishing the race. I love running along the sidelines cheering my teammates on. I love keeping track of their PR's and encouraging them to beat their personal best. I am also one of the funnest runners to watch, I have a fast kick at the end of my races that people not only recognize but come up to me and say, "I just love watching you kick it in at the end." My love for racing and encouraging others is a perfect combination and would help boost any team.
My tendancy to want to help others and joy in seeing them improve is part of the reason I want to coach after I graduate. I apply what I learn from my coaches and take it not only personally but think of how I can keep it in mind for the future. My commitment to helping others feeds into the focus I have on my own improvement too.
I am committed to being my best and stay positive through what I do. In my acedemics I work on and try to learn something new everyday. I do my best to surround myself with people who are encouraging and aspire to do great things.
I would be happy to be a part of a team that wants an encouraging, hardworking, and positive teameate especially one that would push them and help them get better. I would love having a coach that wants to push and help me become my best.
