Slow motion of form Personal Statement
Running has taught me a lot throughout my life. Not only has it taught me about persistence, achieving goals, routines are important, and that our minds are a powerful thing. It’s also taught me how your bond with your teammates can help you succeed. I am the captain of my team, and watching my teammates improve brings me much joy. Running has been my best coping mechanism yet. I’ve been through many unfortunate events, but running has taught me to level them all. Running makes me want to become a better, stronger person. I want to prove that. That is why I would love to run in college, and that is one of my goals.

- In order to reach the national race, I had to compete in two qualifying regional races. The first race was in Rhode Island where I placed 11th, and the second race was held in Maine which I placed 15th in. For Nationals, I placed 60th in my age group!

- Northeast Kingdom Running Camp
- 7/25/21 to 12/31/21
- Cross country running overnight camp, ran about 60 miles within a week. Specialized in hills, incline terrain, evaluations, stretches, bonding, and women's health tips for runners.
