Ever since I was in 5th grade I always wanted to do track. The only problem I had was not being confident to begin. In 9th grade I finally tried track and I haven’t stopped since. To me track is more than just running it is about building relationships too. When I am at a meet I build relationships with other team even one time me and some of my teammates huddled with the other team to pray. I would love to compete at the collegiate level because I don’t want to stop once I graduate. The thing that makes me different than other recruits is that I point out if I am doing something wrong and I try to fix it. I am also a fun person to be around and when no one else is listening to the coach I will. I come to practice everyday unless I have an emergency which is rare. Even though many girls started track in the 5th grade when I could’ve doesn’t mean I can’t be the better runner.
