I am currently in eleventh grade at Galileo High School in Danville, VA. Competing in Track and Cross Country is my passion. I would love to further my running career in college while working to achieve my educational goals.
I am a good candidate for a college athletic team because I will do what it takes to help accomplish the team goals. Through my actions, I can be a leader and help motivate my teammates. I am a hardworking, task-oriented person that takes instruction well. I am enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented, and coachable. I take initiative and I enjoy learning from others and value guidance and instruction. I am self-motivated and will not be outworked. I am willing to make sacrifices and dedicate myself to my team, my sport, and my school.
I stand apart from other recruits because I set the highest standards for myself. I became a member of our varsity track team my freshman year. Since becoming a member, I have placed well or won many events with my team. I am always looking for new experiences and challenges. While I can be a leader, I also understand that there is also a time to be led. I will be an asset to any school and athletic program because of by desire to learn and achieve. I believe in in hard work, determination, and dedication to achieve all my goals and dreams.
