Personal Statement
My goal as a collegiate athlete is to live up to my maximum potential. To reach my potential I am prepared to work and train twice as hard in order to achieve success. The fact that I am passionate about throwing shows how determined and motivated I am to continue throwing in college. I am different from others because I was discouraged from throwing in the beginning of my career. However, I used those remarks to fuel the drive and assertion that I have towards throwing. My parents have always taught me that in order to pursue my passion I had to maintain excellent grades. Academics are my #1 requirement in college. I know that I have the right mindset to succeed in the future.
