I am a rising senior (2021). I did not start running track until my sophomore year but picked up on it very quickly. I have always enjoyed running and know how to use it to my advantage. That is exactly what I would do playing basketball and soccer. I tore my ACL playing soccer and decide to try out track my sophomore year. I was immediately in love with the sport. I spent my summer training six to seven days a week and have continued that through out the year. I love that track makes you push yourself to achieve times you didn't think were possible. I really do enjoy the hard work that it takes for those PR times. In college my goal is to continue pushing myself in track while expanding upon my academics. I take both very seriously. Athletics in general is my passion and thats why I will be going into sports medicine. Though the 2020 spring season was cancelled I have continued training 6 to 7 days a week because I am not easily deterred so I continue to keep working as if I have a season coming up.
