My name is Vivian Brezler, I am a Senior at Dominion High School in Sterling, VA just outside of Washington, D.C. Athletics are very important to me. I love competing and being a part of a team. I have participated in sports since I was 4 years old, starting with little kickers soccer and summer swim team. I continued playing soccer on club teams and also began swimming year-round for a local swim club. During my soccer season, I play outside defense and outside midfield. I have been on my high school soccer team for the past 2 years and earlier this year we won the 4A State Championship.
In February 2021 I decided to try high school cross country and developed a new passion for running. We just finished our regular cross country season where I advanced to regionals. I recently ran my first half marathon placing 1st for my age group with a time of 1:53:34. I will be competing in winter track and am excited about competing in the different events and how I can push myself to get stronger and faster. I was also a member of our high school Hip Hop varsity dance team my freshman and sophomore years and traveled to Orlando in March 2020 to compete in Nationals placing 5th.
When not playing sports I enjoy being with my friends, spending time with family, playing with my 3 dogs, watching Marvel movies, and traveling. I play classical and electric guitar, love paddle boarding and surfing and anything outdoors. I am also interested in art and am part of my school's photojournalism yearbook group. This year I am excited to be taking AP Enviornmental, which is my favorite class.
