Aiyana Blakey '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a short sprinter that specializes in the 200 and 100 meter dash with relay experience in the 4X100 and 4X200 races. I have been running since 2017 until present.  I am consistently improving on my personal record times; each year my times drop between 2-4 seconds.   I am open to trying new things,  I have been considering a field event i.e., long jump. I am looking to become a professional track runner and having a solid career. As for academics, I have taken advance placement courses since 3rd grade.  When not practicing for track I  engage in extra curricular activities and  am active in church.  Career clusters I look forward to is medical and environmental science. Specifically, psychology or meteorology. My grandfather, grandmother, and mother ran track, and I take inspiration from them.
