Currently competing at Franciscan University of Steubenville where I have broken the discus school record several times and will pursue hammer throw and weight throw. I am no longer competing in shot put.
I have been doing track and field since 2016 and have looked forward to it every year. It has always been the highlight of my spring, and I am always disappointed when the track season ends. In past years, I have made it to the District Championship meet in shot put and the State Championship meet in discus as well as winning the Conference Championship meet in discus. This year I am working on rotational shot and my discus form. As well as doing track and field, I play soccer and have played on a club team and an indoor team. I also do Soo Bahk Do (Korean karate) and have my midnight blue belt (equivalent of a black belt). I am in National Honors Society and I am very active with my church. I do lots of volunteer work, especially with 4US, a nonprofit organization based in Tacoma, WA. I strive to be a good student and I enjoy school and sports. My coaches have always said I am very coachable and they enjoy working with me. I also work for the Parks and Rec Department in my city as a referee and I enjoy working with young kids, helping them with their sports.
