I fell in love with running my freshman year, but unfortunately ran into knee problems that same year than impacted my times very negatively up through sophomore year. Please take my injury into consideration when viewing my profile. As of now I have the pain under control and have pushed myself to come back and have a faster 5k, 1600 m, and 800 m. I would love to pursue running in college because not only do I love the sport, but I love the people and look forward to finding a close-knit family that will help make me physically and mentally tougher as I become my best self as an athlete. Running is the most mentally taxing sport to me, and I take pride in my performance. I work hard and put in the extra time outside of practice and in the off season. I'm looking for a team that fights hard, pushes each other, and has created their own family at the end of the day. It's beautiful to have a family that understands running, especially since it offers a special understanding and relationship between you.
