I believe I am a good candidate for your Track and Field team for many reasons which I will state. I am a good candidate because I never give up and always try my hardest which can be an easy thing to say but really not mean it. But not me when I set my mind towards something I achieve it. I unfortunately found out I had to have open heart surgery mid club track season, which lead my season to be cut short. But I didn’t give up and kept pushing and came back the next year and was able to push my self and not give up on my dreams of going to the USATF Junior Olympics. I soon qualified for this meet and was able to place 12 in the long jump and 22 in the triple jump. My love and determination for this sport didn’t allow me to give up and I plan on to keep pushing myself in this sport.
Well being a multi-sport athlete I still have to maintain my grades. I am a 4.0 student and am on high honor role. Being able to say I am a multi-sport athlete and a having 4.0 is one of my biggest achievements.
Track became one of my favorite sports because of the environment and energy the team has. The team pushes you to become the best athlete you can be and encourages you on the way. I believe I would be a great addition to your program and would love to be in your interest. Track and field is a passion of mine and I would like to bring my love for the sport to your team.
