Hi! My name is Sydney Moore and I am from Columbus, WI. I am very grateful for the variety of opportunities, activities, and sports available to me. I am a three season athlete, competing in cross country, basketball, and track. To me, the most important thing about being on a team is doing the best that I can. And by doing that, I am able to support my team, be a role model, and help set a higher standard. I enjoy the camaraderie and challenges that any sport has to offer. I have a very positive attitude, even when things go wrong. I strive to not get discouraged. I simply do my best and just smile at it. I realize that I am in the process of fixing a problem and that struggle is a part of growth. I am also involved in many other activities: in FFA, I competed on a sales team that made it to state; I am a forensics team captain who has earned a gold at state all three years I have competed; I play trombone in concert, jazz, pep and marching bands; and I am a past president of Club Interact, an international-minded organization. Outside of school, I am in 4H and have won awards for the U.S. Junior Scale Modeling Team; and I enjoy working as a lifeguard and teaching swimming lessons in the summer.
