My name is Kellyn Lamore and I am currently a junior at Holmen High School. I would make a good candidate for any collegiate level team because I am a strong, dedicated student and athlete! Currently, I am taking one AP class and that is AP Psychology. Next year I am taking another AP class and that is AP Statistics. I have been in an honors language class and I have improved greatly on my reading and writing skills. As of this year, I am in quite a bit of extracurricular activities; Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Freshman Mentor, DECA, Prom Committee, Cross Country, Track, and Basketball. I also go to church every Sunday, Tuesday, and Wedesday's for church and to help clean up. Everyday I wake up and realize that I am blessed to be going to school getting a great education, then after school going to do what I love the most, participate in a team sport! I have an extreme passion for running! I believe it is the greatest feeling in the world being apart of a team where everyone loves to run. I love being positive to my teammates, especially to the younger ones because they really need the encouragement to help build a strong team for when my grade is graduated. I have won conference in track for the 4x400 and the 4x800 my freshman and sophomore year. In cross country I have gotten second team all conference too! This year my goal for track is to make it to state in the 4x400, 4x800, and the mile. I work extra hard by lifting everyday and getting a good run in. I have very high goal set because I believe this year not only myself, but my relay teammates can achieve our goal!
My life goal is to run in college. I want to stick with the sport I love, track/cross country! I will work extra hard for it and I will do whatever it takes to become a collegiate runner. I started running because my mom was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkins lymphoma as a single parent too. She inspired me to go after my dreams and running in college is a huge dream for me! She never gave up during her transplant, so, I will never give up on my running. I am a dedicated student and athlete and I will always work for my goal!
