Nikki Wilcox '25 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to pole vault at the collegiate level. I was a competitive gymnast for years and then I started pole vaulting in 6th grade. I still compete gymnastics for high school, but pole vaulting is my passion. I have thought about different majors in college such as Forensic Science, Biology, and Chemistry.  I just completed my Pre-ACT and I received a score of 25. I currently have a 3.6 GPA. 

I am a very positive and outgoing person.  I am very dedicated to reaching my goals and I am very supportive of my teammates. 

I had a very successful freshman season. I had a PR of 11'3".  I was the only freshman in my high school to make it to the state meet and only one of two freshman in the entire state to make it for pole vault.  After state I suffered a shoulder injury which took me out of pole vault for almost one year.  I did a lot of physical therapy and was determined to come back.  I was able to get back for the Regional meet in 2023 and jump 10 feet and made it to Sectionals. Unfortunately I did not make it on from there this year. I am training this summer and I am signed up to compete in more meets this summer.
