I have been running since I was six years old. Ever since my mom made my sister and I run a triathlon, I have fell in love with the sport. Since then, my dream to run in college has grown throughout the years and I realize the effort, determination, and pure willpower that is needed to succeed. I plan to give my all, all the time to reach this goal.
I am a team leader and try to set an example for the rest of my peers, in and out of practice. I am a great encourager and try to offer positive motivation to my teammates as well. My personality leaves me very coachable and I desire criticism to make me a stronger student athlete. Effort is what I am known for, and my belief in giving 150% rests high on my priorities. This includes in the classroom, on the track, and as a recruit.
In the classroom, I study very hard and maintain a 4.07 GPA. I am also actively involved in my school and community, serving on my school's National Honor Society, DECA, many clubs, and leadership positions. My mindset is to attend a college where I can challenge myself in both the academic and athletic realm of things. I am open to ALL options and want to ultimately find the college that is best fit for me, academically and athletically. With these things said, I desire to play at the highest level possible, positively impacting myself and the college I choose.I can't wait to see where this awesome sport takes me.
