My name is Kaetlyn Key, I'm a Junior at Verona Area High School in Verona Wisconsin, just outside of Madison, Wisconsin. My last recorded marks are from this indoor season for shotput which is 34ft 7in and 82ft 2in for discus at the end of my sophomore season, though I have thrown further in practices. My academic goal is to attend Veterinary School, I have a 3.29 GPA, though my school does not weigh our AP classes. I have already taken the following AP courses: Biology, World History, Pre-calc, and 12 years of Mandarin, and I will be taking more AP classes before graduation. I am also involved in extracurriculars at my school such as Model United Nations, the swim and dive team, and the track team. Outside of the spring track season, I participate in a year-round throws club called Madison Throws Club, run by Joe Frontier and coached by former All-American throwers, former Olympians, and college/high school coaches. I am helping lead my throwing team this track season and am helping lead off-season workouts such as weightlifting and throwing for current, new, and interested throwers at my school. I constantly work to better myself not only athletically and academically but also to help uplift and improve the lives of those around me.
