I started throwing for track and field my seventh grade year. I had never thought about doing it before, but it quickly became my favorite sport. Throughout my throwing career, my teammates have been pushing me hard to become the most competitive I can be. In my practices, my coaches have helped me learn not only how to throw, but also how to learn how to become a better all-around athlete.
While not out in the field, I do well in the classroom. I maintain a high GPA while being enrolled in harder college classes that will count towards an associates degree that I am planning to acquire about the same I graduate from high school. Along with my high achievements in school, I am also a member of my school's FFA program. I am the vice president for the FFA chapter this year, and I am the secretary/treasurer for my class. I also play an active role in my church, being part of the altar guild, as well as being a member of my county's quilters guild, the Goshen County Quilters.
I want to attend a college where there is a good education program, as well as a good throwing program.
