I love volleyball. I would like to pursue volleyball while attending a school with opportunities for me to study nursing with a specialty of anesthesia (CRNA). I am a strong student who consistently strives to get good grades and thrives on challenges. I would like to play for a college or university that meets both my academic and athletic goals.
I currently play for Birmingham Volleyball Club (BVC) located in Birmingham, AL. I have been playing with BVC for the past five years and each year I am able to notice how my playing has progressed. I am known for my consistency of play and all around ability on the court with a good attitude. This season I started out as an outside hitter (Left/Right), but have moved to play Middle. The changes in my position allow for me to be more well rounded and an asset to any team that I play with in the future.
I am a team leader and try to lead by example and encourage my teammates. I have a very teachable spirit and I look for opportunities to grow and develop my skills across the board. I play well under pressure with a very competitive attitude, as my mother and coaches would be able to attest to.
Volleyball is my passion and I look forward to what the future holds.
