I always try my best to be kind to everyone, because I never want them to feel how I have in the past, when no one has been inclusive or engaging toward me. Sometimes it’s just nice to be acknowledged, especially in a team setting, because everyone contributes something, and everyone deserves respect. I have been taught that if everyone on a volleyball team does not feel appreciated by the rest of the group, and is not lifted up, then the team cannot succeed. I agree with this statement, because I have been the one left out before, and I know it does not motivate players to keep going and do their best.
