Personal Statement


My name is Haley Briggs, and I am looking to compete at the next level of volleyball. Volleyball has been such a big part of my life.  I am a dedicated and hardworking student-athlete who is looking to play at the higher level of volleyball, and I would be a great addition to your team.

 I am 17 years old, 6’0 currently an Outside Hitter/Middle playing for Mana Toa Volleyball Club.  I am a 3 sport athlete (volleyball, basketball, and softball) and currently a Junior in high school at Lowndes Academy.  I have been playing varsity volleyball since 7th grade.  Here are my stats from my sophomore and junior year:

10th grade- 210 kills, 65 digs, 87 aces

11th grade- 264 kills, 106 digs, 95 aces

I was awarded the MVP Varsity Volleyball Award my 10th grade year.

This past volleyball season we were 2A Varsity Volleyball Runner-up and I was also awarded the All Tournament Team.


I am President of my Junior Class, and a current member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, SGA, FCA, Key Club, Art Club, and Spanish Club.
