I started playing Volleyball for my school team when I was in the 7th grade. It was when I was in the 9th grade that I realized my love for the game and wanting to pursue it at a higher level. I am very passionate about volleyball and would love to pursue it at the College level, attending a school that I equally am passionate about their academics. I am looking to play for a College or University that meets my academic and athletic goals.
I am a very good student enrolled in AP and Honor classes, as well as Dual Enrollment classes. I take pride in making good grades, I study hard and work hard to do well in my classes. My hard work and dedication to my academics shows also in my volleyball playing. I listen to instruction and apply it immediately. I am a hardworking student and a trainable player.
I am close friends with my teammates on and off the court. I am very competitive and look forward to leading my team to a winning season and championships. One of my best characteristics is that I don't dwell on mistakes during a game or practice. I personally focus on having a positive attitude when mistakes are made on the court, whether I make the mistake or my teammate does. I truly believe that encouragement rather than ridicule is better while focusing on what to do next.
As of now, I am still trying to figure out what career I want to pursue but I look forward to pursuing that while playing the sport that I love.
