I have lived on the outskirts in a small town my whole life attending a middle/high school of less than 340 students. This still never stopped my volleyball team from making it to the Alaska State tournament for the four years I've been part of the program, winning the Alaska State Championship in 2019 and coming into a close 3rd for 2020. Although we did not have the privilege of winning a state title my last year, I was honored with the award of 2020, ASAA 3A States best Defensive Specialist of the year. A remarkable way to end my high school volleyball career! I have been fortunate to be part of such a strong program, blessed with passionate coaches and team mates. This program has helped shape me into the person and athlete I am today.
I am extremely coachable, always communicating and a positive energy on and off the quart. I am prepared to handle adversity in a variety of situations, with players of different skill levels. This allows me to be an even more effective leader on the court. My love for the game is more than a sport, its a connection, its about being there for each other and trusting each other. My team mates always know I'm pulling for them and want them to be successful. I feel this is what sets me apart from other ds/libero recruits. My collegiate goal is to get a quality degree, while playing a competitive sport, I love. I am super excited and can't wait to step into this next chapter, working hard, helping others and crushing my goals!
