Kinley Erickson '21 Recruiting Profile

    Hi my name is Kinley Erickson, I am a seventeen year old Libero/ Defensive Specialist that lives in North Pole, Alaska. I have been playing volleyball for about eight years and have been playing for my club (Arctic Volleyball Club Fairbanks) for about 6 years.  With each year that I have played,  my eagerness to play at a higher level rises, pushing me to work harder to reach this goal.  I strive to be the best player, student and person I can be in my daily life on and off the court, and am always putting 110% effort into everything I do. I am a 4.0 student that is involved in AP classes and I am working hard to become the valedictorian of my graduating class of 2021. I am an active Christian, and serve God in everything I do whether it be in the classroom, at home, or on the court. In college, I plan to study Sports Management or Marketing and have been taking steps in my high school courses to prepare myself for these subjects.  Sports Management has been something I have wanted to do for about two years now and this goal was sparked by my community service act: volunteering to help at my local middle school's volleyball team. I love the idea that I get to help these younger kids learn the sport as well as building relationships with the girls that could possibly play with me in the high school volleyball program.
