As a student athlete, managing my time and making the most of every opportunity that I am given are important to me. I have been successful on both the volleyball court, as well as, in the classroom and believe that I can achieve the same success if given the opportunity to play volleyball at your university or college.
In addition to playing school and club volleyball, I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA and am striving to finish high school with a 4.0. I also participate in Student Council and enjoy attending my church youth group and the community outreach that we do as a part of our ministry.
I have been privileged enough to be a part of a successful club team as a 14 year old. As a member of the Arizona East Valley Juniors 14N1 team, we were successful in winning the National Division Championship in Minnesota at the USVBA National Tournament. I started at outside hitter for the season and enjoyed the fun of success we had during the season.
I attend Valley Christian High School in Chandler, Arizona, and am a member of the varsity volleyball team. I was the only freshman to make the varsity last year and had a great sophomore year. I ended the season in the top five players in my division for hitting percentage and top 10 in kills. In addition, we were fortunate enough to make the semi-finals at our State tournament in Division 3. I also received Second Team All Division recognition for my play this season. I very much enjoyed my second season of high school competition and look forward to what the next two seasons will bring.
I am currently a member of the Arizona East Valley Juniors 16N1's team for this club season. I have moved to hit in the right side position and have been playing defensive specialist as well. We have been competing in the open division of our regional league. I am looking forward to the qualifiers this year and seeing how we fair at Nationals. I am looking forward to exceeding expectations as a team.
This year I will continue to participate in sand tournaments in Arizona, Nevada and California. I anticipate being very competitive this sand season as I have a new sand partner, and believe we will be a good mix.
I am a hard worker and a solid team player. I look forward to the opportunity to compete and hope that you will find my profile to reveal a player that will contribute to your squad upon my graduation in 2018. I very much look forward to and welcome the opportunity to visit with you regarding your college or university.
