Volleyball is a sport that is advancing in today's society, allowing young women to learn teamwork, communication, and determination through the sport, as these are the key factors in volleyball. As a player, I have been able to learn and experience the significance of these factors, even off the court. Teamwork, communication, and determination are key factors in the classroom that I am able to display every day because of my experiences with volleyball. Volleyball has always made a huge impact on my life due to the fact that it seems that I am playing the sport 24/7. I have a goal to play volleyball in college as do most volleyball players and I want to be able to learn from experiences that come from volleyball. There is one reoccurring experience that I have had in volleyball that continues to make my volleyball career impactful on my life; I learned that your volleyball team is your family and will always be there for you. No matter what team I have been on the individuals have made an impact by teaching me the values of always being there for each other, which has made me a better person as well as a better volleyball player. But I don't just want to play volleyball, I want to be able to further my education. School has always been one of my favorite things in life and I wish to continue school through college that grants me the opportunity to have a job that I love. Honestly, I am not completely sure as to what I want to study in college because I have so many interests in life and I don't know which one to pursue yet. But one thing that differentiates me from other players and students is that I seek the chance to improve myself every day, whether it is in the classroom or on the court.
