Ashley Reed '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach! 

My name is Ashley Reed and I hate losing. On and off the court, I am a competitor. I strive for excellence in every aspect of my life, especially volleyball. My favorite quote is "hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard." I am known for being a hard worker. I put my best effort towards academics and athletics. I sacrifice hours of free time to retake tests or seek help in the classroom just to make sure I understand the concepts my teachers have taught me. Just like in the classroom, I spend many extra hours in the gym training with coaches working towards being a better volleyball player. I want to be the best me I can be and I am a perfectionist so I will try and try again until I get the result I want (although it is rarely enough, perpetually dissatisfied they say!) 

Volleyball is my passion. You want me on your court, in your weight room, and on your team.

My plan is to attend chiropractor school after earning my bachelor's in science at the school I will play volleyball for.  I hope to be a chiropractor and sports massage/injury prevention therapist in the future so it is undecided what I would like to major in for my undergraduate.
