I plan to attend college and play volleyball at a university. I'm interested in exploring criminal justice or forensic science but am always finding new and fascinating interests to learn about. I am open to attending college and playing volleyball anywhere, although I have my eye on a Division 1 school in Florida and Indiana. I enjoy traveling to new places and meeting new people. I also love volleyball. My passion for volleyball only gets stronger as seasons pass. I feel alive and at home on the court. I've had my share of adversity within the sport but continue to grow and develop to be the best player possible.
After my freshman year of high school, I set a goal of making the varsity team as a sophomore. I put in extra work over summer, lifting, conditioning and attending every camp possible. I reached my goal and made the varsity team. This showed me that if I set my mind to something, I can achieve it.
I will put in the work to reach my goals. After several months of lifting, I increased my vertical about 4 inches. I love the adrenaline the outside hitter position brings but also enjoy the challenge of middle hitter. I found great success in both positions over my last club season, perfecting my line shot as outside hitter and executing several different plays as a middle hitter, my favorite being the slide. I have immensely improved my passing skills and am known for being very consistent on the court.
I am a team player and a good student. I am confident that I will be an asset to any university and volleyball program.
