2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My dream is to play College Volleyball at a respected College/University that will help me fulfill my education goals. I have a strong Christian faith which I believe gives me great leadership qualities along with a very positive attitude towards my coaches, teammates and play. I believe your team is only as good as the worse attitude on the team, so my goal while on the court or the sidelines is to be the biggest cheerleader and supporter of my teammate's.
My Academics have always my number 1 focus in which I always hover around and above a " 4.0 GPA ", I am in all honors programs and have been a member of the "National Honor Society" since my Freshman year and will serve as Vice President next year as a Senior.
I have been playing School and Club Volleyball since I was 12yrs old and before that I was a high level competitive Gymnast from the age of 6yrs old.
I am currently in my Senior 2020-2021 year of High School (2021 graduate) in which I am starting Libero on our schools Varsity team for 3rd year, Also I am starting Libero for my 18yr old National Club team. A quote from my former Varsity Coach Terry Sutter during my Freshman year " Cassidy possesses a natural aggressiveness and ability to perform in the moment that together is actually kind of unnatural". Voted to "All American Team" by NCSAA "National Christian Schools Athletic Association" for the past season of 19/20.
This past Varsity season of my Junior year I helped lead my team at Libero to the State Playoffs for the 1st time since 2007 while playing all of the 105 sets of the season. I also set new single season school records in the following 6 Categories, Aces, Serve %, Ace %, PTs Scored, Digs, Passing % .
2019 High School Varsity Season Stats via MaxPreps :
433 Serves, 127 Aces, 26 errors. Ace percentage 29.3%, serve percentage 94%, 373Pts. #1 Jr, Libero in the Nation for Aces, #1 Libero and #1 Jr in AZ for Aces, 3rd Overall in AZ and Conference for Aces , 2nd Overall in Region for Aces.

567 Digs, 9th in State Overall, 3rd in Conference and 1st in Region. Only 43 errors in 105 sets. 5.4 Dig average per set.
485 Serve Receive attempts with only 53 errors.
30 back row kills - #1 for Libero's in Conference and Region.
My serve % in Club has been consistently around 95% all season with about a 30% ace percentage while hitting all the zones on the court as requested by coach and sometimes being utilized as a Serve Specialist when needed.

- LIBERO AND DS POSITION CAMP - This camp included a mix of position specific training and give insight into how college athletes train their skills as well as games and drills to implement the skills learned. This camp consisted of seven 2-hour volleyball sessions spread over three days.

Training
- High level competetive gymnast until I was 11yrs old
- 6 years
- Before playing Volleyball I competed in gymnastics up to level 7 at which time my training consisted of conditioning and sharpening skills and routines for up to 25hrs per week. This helped me to learn to compete in front of crowds on a very large stage at a very young age. Gymnastics also gave me a level head when competing and learned at a young age that I had to discard mistakes immedialty and move on to performing the next move flawlessly, this has helped me to be a consistent Volleyball player and never let a mistake get into my ahead and affect my performance.
