Academics is the number one thing for me, because without good grades you cannot accomplish many things in life. Your whole future depends on how well you did in school. If you do not have good grades then you are most likely to not play college sports, and are less likely to reach your goals. I'm very competitive in everything, from being the top student in my class to helping my team become the best. I leave it all on the court, it does not matter if we're winning by 15 or losing by 15 I will never stop giving it my all. I also play within myself. I do not try to do things beyond my abilities. I play my role. I'm also not a selfish player. I will celebrate for all of my teammates when they do something good and I'm there to pick them back up when they get down. I've always lived by the saying "There's no I in team". It's hard to win when you're only worried about how many kills, blocks, or points you've had instead of the team as a whole. What I believe sets me apart from the other recruits is that I don't give up, I'm there for my teammates, and I'm not a selfish player.
