Hi. I am Kinley James, class of 2026, 6ft MH/MB from Fort Smith, Arkansas. I play travel volleyball at Fort Smith Junior and high school volleyball at Hackett high school.
I have played volleyball since I was in the 6th grade and to play in college would be amazing. I love volleyball. I'm a very hard worker and I have great hustle no matter what. I love encouraging my teammates and having a strong competitive spirit to push for wins. Learning what I can do to be better as a skilled player and as a teammate is one of my favorite things about playing a team sport.
I believe working hard on the court is just as important in the classroom. I have been in NJHS, NHS, and the principles Honor Roll every year of high school. I have a 4.0 GPA and take all Honors classes and plan on taking AP and college classes as soon as I can. I do very well working with others in the classroom and on the court no matter the circumstance.
I deserve a shot to play at a college level because volleyball is my passion and to be able to get a higher education and do what I love would be phenomenal.
