Personal Statement
Hi! I’m Mariana Farias and I’d like for you to get to know me. I’ve been playing volleyball for approximately 6 years and ever since the first practice I instantly fell in love. I’m extremely passionate and ambious about this sport. It started as a dream to play professionally but quickly became a goal. I’m an outside hitter and I am very coachable, I enjoy learning and mastering new skills. I put the work in and quiting isn’t in my vocabulary. I want to go to universities like Stanford, Florida university and many more. I definitely put the student in student athlete. I am always at the top of my grade and take many advanced classes. I acquire great leadership skills, one example being named captain as a junior on varsity. I am determined to reach my goal and put the work in!
