Jessica Streuer '18 Recruiting Profile

      I have been involved in team sports since the age of four. I have always had a competitive drive in everything that I have tried. I am a hard worker in everything that I participate in, and I will never give up. There are no, “I cant’s” in my world. I work for whatever it is I need to improve at. Whether that is in my grades, or my skills in volleyball, I work hard for it.
I strive to be better in everything that I do. I want to be the best I can be, and succeed at whatever I am trying to accomplish. I have always been an excellent student, and I expect to continue in my success in academics. In my academics, my goal is to maintain a 4.0 GPA every semester of high school.
Volleyball is my passion. I strive to become a better player every single day. I devote countless hours in the gym to improve my skills that I have developed over the past few years. I understand the harder I work, the better I will become. As a setter, I work to be a leader on and off of the court. I strive to control the court, motivate my teammates, and try my absolute best to lead my team to victory.
I've been the team captain of my club team for three years in a row, and plan to continue to fill this position. As a sophomore, I have earned the starting setter position on my high school's varsity team.
I am a coachable athlete, a passionate athlete, and a persevering athlete.
