Vivian Lisboa '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Vivian Lisboa and I want to play volleyball throughout college. I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old, and I haven't stopped playing the sport. I am a hard worker athletically and academically. I get straight A's, I played JV my sophomore year and was pulled up to Varsity toward the end of the season.   As I head into my senior year, I am excited about my final high school season and getting into club ball with my teammates.  My journey through volleyball hasn't always been easy, but I've learned many lessons about who I am as a person and player, how to be part of a team, how to communicate with others, how to work through challenging opportunities, and how to celebrate success.

Academically, I plan on pursuing a degree in Engineering, with a focus on Ocean/Naval Engineering.  Professionally, I want to build submersibles to help explore our planet's bodies of water.  I find it interesting that we have better maps of planets like Mars than we do of our own lakes and oceans here on Earth!
