Mia Jimenez '22 Recruiting Profile

From volleyball, to wrestling, track and a political club it has all molded me into the driven person I am today. Being so active with sports and a complex political club at a critical age, led me to realize I was comfortable with taking that extra step for my team. Becoming president of a political club allowed me to diversify my horizons. It was important to me to have every one of us be successful and strive, not only as a team, but as individuals as well. At such a key age I was exposed to levels of leadership that no one else my age could comprehend. Sports have taken a huge toll on shaping who I am today, providing me with leadership skills for a lifetime. I plan on showing nothing but commitment and dedication, a few qualities a leader holds. Nonetheless, in order to be a successful leader, you must never forget where you came from. We all start from the bottom and work our way up to the top, this is me working my way up.
