I've always wanted to play sports after high school. As a three sport athlete, I love contributing to and being part of a team. Every year when volleyball starts, I set a goal for myself to be as encouraging and positive as I can while also making myself a better player.
I started playing volleyball when I was 11 and I immediately fell in love with it. I loved how fast paced and graceful it was and I never wanted to miss a single practice. Volleyball has definitely taught me how to be a team player and work with different kinds of people.
My athleticism has gotten me far in volleyball, but I want to improve in the technical areas of the sport. I play strong defense and I am a well-rounded player who has experience playing in every position.
I plan to graduate in the top 25 in my class, and I want to attend any college that allows me to keep doing what I love while also being challenged academically. I would like to major in animal biology or fire science, and I believe that my academics in high school have prepared me for the challenge.
