Amrit Dhaliwal '23 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing volleyball, I have always dreamed of playing in college. I am very passionate about volleyball and I always try to do my best. I am a natural leader and team player on the court. 

My freshman and sophomore year at Monte Vista High School, I was a Varisty starter on the team. I played at NorCal Volleyball Club from 13s to this year. On the court, I am always very positive and supportive of my teammates. I have learned that it is very important to never give up.  One of my favorite parts of playing volleyball is that it is a team sport.  I am very dedicated to doing my best on the court and bringing out the best in my teammates.

Additionally, I am an ambitious and hardworking student!  I have a 4.0 GPA, and I work hard to maintain my grades and do well in school. I am a 1st degree black belt and did taekwondo for 4 years. I am also part of the Leadership class and CSF at Monte Vista High School. 

My goal is to be a student athlete at a school with a good balance of academics and athletics. I would like to study psychology in the future, but I am interested in business, science, and math. I am also open to any location or size of school. I look forward to seeing where volleyball takes me in the future!
