Hello! My name is Addison Crawford, but everyone calls me "Addie". I am an outside/middle hitter for the class of 2025. I have always been involved in sports for as long as I can remember, as I played soccer and softball at the school and club levels. However, once I was introduced to volleyball I was instantly hooked and have been ever since! I officially started playing in the 6th grade, when I made my middle school team. After one season I wanted to complete at a higher level where I would develop and challenge my skills, so I tried out for club volleyball and made their elite travel team for my age group. Ever since then there has been no looking back as I continue to play for both a school program and club.
I love everything about the sport. From the team dynamics and challenging athletic ability that is required, to the importance of how each play requires the ability to think quickly and accurately. What's not to love about something that challenges you both physically and mentally as an individual and as team?!
I am always striving to be the best student-athlete I can be, both on and off the court as I am constantly looking and open to ways I can improve. I currently hold a 3.7GPA where I take Honors courses in both English and Math. I am actively involved in my schools Associated Student Body as the class of 2025 Vice President for th years running. I was recently hand chosen to fill the role as 1 out of 2 incoming freshman sitting in a school leadership course and role . And I just recently found out that I made the Varsity volleyball team for my high school for my freshman 2021-2022 school year.
Being a part of an athletic team and in a leadership position at school has given me skills that I value and believe have contributed and continue to shape my characteristics as an individual in a positive manner.
My ultimate goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in one of the following fields ( Pre-Med, Pre-Physical Therapy ) I am a motivated, hardworking, dynamic player that will always bring a positive attitude and thirst for excellence. Thank for you taking the time to check out my page!
