Savannah Risley '22 Recruiting Profile

 I have so much to learn academically and athletically. I look forward to the challenges and adversity that comes with learning and growth.   Although I have an intense desire to become a great volleyball player, it does not overshadow my commitment to academics.  I have a great interest in biology, business and the study of the human body.  I don't have it all figured out yet, but I know I want to help people.   

As a volleyball player I am athletic, driven and humble. I have been playing competitively since I was 10 years old.   I am totally committed to the success of my team and teammates.  I think what makes me a unique player is that I believe that anything is possible.  That translates to the way I play the game.  I never give up on a game, a point or a ball.  

I love to play volleyball and it shows through my play. The one thing I love more than anything is to win. Overcoming adversity, hard work and high level competition motivate me. Most of all, I want to be a part of a program that complements my commitment, fearlessness and drive to become the best.
