Aurora Mentzer '23 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball all 4 years of high school and have been on the varsity squad since my sophomore year. I have learned the competitiveness and camaraderie has made me a better athlete and student. I was team captain and named Team MVP this past season while taking AP classes in English, History, Spanish and honors Physics. I am also proud of being inducted into the National Honor Society the last 3 years. This past season, I have capitalized on my 6 foot height at middle and became stronger in my skills, which gave me greater confidence at the net. I believe participation in college athletics will allow me to perform at my highest potential as an athlete and a student, as it did in high school. I look forward to becoming part of a cohesive, highly functioning team and eventually stepping into a leadership role.
