Hi, my name is Mallie! I am a Hmong-American athlete from Fresno, California. As part of the Hmong community, we are the most under-represented people because of our delayed population in the America. Although volleyball is one of the three major sports in the Hmong community, in the 18 years of my life, I have never met a female of the Hmong community play volleyball for college. So being a Hmong female to play college volleyball has become one of my life goals. My biggest inspiration for this is America's first Hmong-American Olympic Gymnast, Sunisa Lee.
